The old town and seafront (Playa del Cura, Playa de los Locos) offer walkable apartment living minutes from the port and shops. Aguas Nuevas and Punta Prima sit south of the centre with newer beachfront blocks. La Mata (north) is quieter and trades on its long sandy beach. The Orihuela Costa urbanisations (Cabo Roig, Punta Prima, Mil Palmeras) blur into Torrevieja and offer cheaper villa stock.
