Orihuela Costa is the sixteen-kilometre resort strip immediately south of Torrevieja, made up of named developments rather than a single town: Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Villamartín. It is the most internationally owned stretch of the Costa Blanca, and La Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping centre in the province, sits in the middle of it.
Our stock here runs from about €195,000 to €625,000, with the middle near €339,000 and roughly €3,900 per square metre. Two-bedroom outnumbers three-bedroom, and around a quarter are houses. Many do, more than in most Spanish resort areas. The permanent international population supports year-round shops, restaurants and medical services, and La Zenia Boulevard does not close. It is quieter than August by a long way, but it does not shut in the way a purely seasonal strip does.
